Hike Maker can generate a random route at the distance, or the number of steps you choose
You can create circular routes, a to b routes and custom routes
It records the route you walk, distance, heart rate, calories, altitude and steps (or pushes for wheelchair users)
Routes can be imported and exported from and to other apps in GPX format
As long as there are paths around, it can generate routes from wherever you are
Utilises Live Activities and notifications to keep you up to date on progress
iCloud sync between devices - use you iPad to plot a route then walk that route with your iphone
You can take notes on your journey - they are logged against your location and shown on a map
A weather forecast is provided for your location
There are colourful dashboards and statistics to keep you motivated
Free to generate and save as many random routes as you want, other features require a subscription

About the Developer
Hi, I’m Gary Ismay, an independent developer based in Standish, England. I started Hike Maker as an update to my previous app, MeandR, but ended up starting afresh, completely rewriting the route generation algorithm and adding all the features I thought people want in a walking app.
